Is This The Same As Annual Football Club Membership Fees?
No — your annual football club fees stay the same. Club 1888 is a completely optional extra for anyone who wants to give a little more each month. We really appreciate it. Merchandise orders and hospitality vouchers are processed in quarterly fulfilment batches. “Quarterly” refers to when items are distributed; it does not mean that each member receives new merchandise or vouchers four times per year.
Is Gym Access Guaranteed?
Gym access is not guaranteed and is subject to availability, capacity and booking.
Access depends on your Club 1888 tier:
- Champion (£15) – Individual Gym Access (1 Adult)
- Legend (£25) – Household Gym Access (2 Adults) (same address)
- Premium (£50) – Household Gym Access (Up to 4 Adults) (same address)
For safety and insurance purposes, all users must hold Active Football Club Membership & Induction Required before using the facilities.
What’s The Minimum Term?
Club 1888 is a 12-month commitment. After that, you can choose to continue, upgrade, or stop — whatever suits.
What Am I Signing Up For?
Club 1888 is a monthly contribution that helps Forkhill GAA plan ahead and invest in teams, facilities and the next generation. Some tiers include a few thank-you perks (like lotto lines, vouchers and gym access).
What If I Already Play The Lotto / Pay Membership Another Way?
Not a worry at all — Club 1888 is mainly about steady monthly support for the club. Any lotto lines or perks included are simply our way of saying thanks.
How Do Club 1888 Lotto Lines Work Alongside The Regular Lotto?
Any lotto lines included in your Club 1888 tier are our way of saying thanks for your monthly support and are entered automatically each week. If you’d ever like to play more lines, you can still do so through the standard club lotto system as normal.
How Do The Vouchers Work?
Vouchers can be used for drinks, snacks and hospitality items — coffee, tea, soft drinks, hot chocolate, bar drinks and light refreshments — at the bar/coffee dock during opening hours, in £5 denominations. They cannot be used for merchandise or other items. Just a small note: no change can be given.
Are Perks/Rewards Guaranteed?
Perks are subject to availability and club terms — but the support you’re giving always goes straight back into the club, and we’re very grateful for it.
What happens after my first 12 months?
When you renew and your monthly payments remain up to date, your ongoing benefits continue. These include your tier’s weekly lotto lines, gym access where included, Club 1888 prize-draw entries, participating partner discounts and event benefits.
Hospitality vouchers are issued once per 12-month membership term. A renewed Champion, Legend or Premium member will therefore receive a new voucher for their renewed membership year.
Club merchandise—including umbrellas, coats and car stickers—is a one-time welcome benefit provided during a member’s first Club 1888 term. Merchandise is not automatically reissued each year unless the club announces a specific renewal reward or promotion.
Members upgrading to a higher tier may receive any additional merchandise included in the new tier that they have not already received.
If a membership ends, the associated lotto entries, gym access and other active-member benefits also end.
How Does Merchandise Work?
Club merchandise included with certain tiers is subject to seasonal availability and stock levels. Styles and sizes may vary from time to time, but we’ll always aim to provide a quality item as a thank-you for your support. Data Privacy Notice: By completing your Club 1888 membership purchase, you consent to Peadar Ó Doirnín GAA securely sharing your name and email address with our external merchandise provider for the sole purpose of verifying and fulfilling your apparel order.
